That is the general rule of thumb is to select a sink which is 3″ smaller than your cabinet for easy installation. You could also squeeze this sink into a 30″ cabinet. It isn’t recommended and that may also require modification to the cabinet at the discretion of you and your installer in what’s called a “custom, or modified fit.”

How much is the drain set back from a natural center on the model D28-ADA .
