Care: Avoid overloading sink with too much weight, it could damage your sink. Avoid using hard metal brushes like Brillo pads. Avoid leaving food waste and dishes in sink for prolonged periods of time, it’ll make cleaning it much more tedious. Dry sink with microfiber cloth after you’ve cleaned and are done using it.

Cleaning: Regularly rinse away residue in your sink and prevent scratches by using a sink grid instead of a rubber mat in your sink.

Cleaners and Sealers

Instructions:  Douse your sink with water and add a mild abrasive cleaner, we prefer using Bar Keepers Friend®. With a soft sponge, scrub with the grain and brushed pattern of your sink. NEVER Brush against the grain and rinse immediately with clean water and dry with a microfiber cloth.

Streak Management: It’s very common for your sink to show some streaking at the end of the day. All you need to do is completely dry your sink and add a few drops of extra virgin olive oil or vegetable oil to a soft paper towel and Wipe the oil over streaked areas.
Rinse immediately with clean water and dry with microfiber cloth.

Smudge Management: It’s also very common that your sink will show fingerprints, smudges and hard water deposits from daily use. Pour white vinegar onto a soft sponge and gently rub the soft sponge over smudges, spots and their surrounding areas. Rinse immediately with clean water and dry with microfiber cloth.

Cleaning & Maintenance for Granite Composite Sinks

Granite Composite (All Colors and Styles)

Care: Avoid overloading sink with too much weight, it could damage your sink. Avoid using hard metal brushes like Brillo pads. Avoid leaving food waste and dishes in sink for prolonged periods of time, it’ll make cleaning it much more tedious. Avoid harsh citrus cleaners and ammonia. Do not use concentrated bleach without first diluting in water. (1 cap full per gallon of water). Also, be careful when bleaching your water well if you have one. Dry sink with microfiber cloth after each use and after you’ve cleaned and are done using it. 

Cleaning: Regularly rinse away residue and gently scrub with soapy water and a nylon brush/pad . Don’t forget to dry sink when you’re done. 

Cleaners and Sealers

Discoloration:  Rusty/Hard water or oily substances left in your Granite Composite sink can cause discoloration. Unwanted discoloration and blemishes can be eliminated by using this tip:

It’s very common for your sink to show some streaking at the end of the day. All you need to do is completely dry your sink and add a few drops of extra virgin olive oil or vegetable oil to a soft paper towel and Wipe the oil over streaked or discolored areas. Wiping with oil also brings back the stones factory shine and protects the sink at the same time. There is no need to over-saturate the sink in oil. Please use a conservative amount.

Cleaning & Maintenance for Porcelain and Fireclay Sinks

Porcelain & Fireclay (All Colors and Styles)

 Care: Avoid overloading sink with too much weight, it could damage your sink. Avoid using hard metal brushes like Brillo pads. Avoid leaving food waste and dishes in sink for prolonged periods of time, it’ll make cleaning it much more tedious. Dry sink with microfiber cloth after you’ve cleaned and are done using it. 

Routine Cleaning: Keep your sink(s) looking great with these pro tips:

Using Bar Keepers Friend® and or Soft Scrub® with or without mild amounts of Bleach, apply the cleaner to your sink and gently scrub entire sink in a circular motion with a soft sponge pad. Rinse with clean water and dry.

Cleaners and Sealers

Sanitizing: Mix a solution from 1 part bleach and 3 parts water. Work the solution around the sides if the sink then let the solution soak the bottom of sink for 30-60 Minutes. Drain solution, rinse well with clean water, dry with micro fiber cloth.

Smudge and Scuff Management: Sometimes smudges and scuffs happen, especially if you have young children. Follow this tip to rid scuffs and smudges without damaging your sink: 

Mix Arm and Hammer Baking Soda®  or Bar Keepers Friend® with water until you have a paste-like consistency. With a soft sponge, rub paste on scuffs until they are no longer visible. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with microfiber cloth. 

Enhance Shine: Porcelain and Fireclay shines on its own but every now and then after heavy use it may appear to look dull. Follow this tip:

Pour white vinegar directly into sink with drain closed. Work vinegar gently into sink using a nylon or soft brush/pad. Rinse immediately with clean water and dry with microfiber cloth. Vinegar is also great for controlling drain odors and soft cleans your pipes.
